Anchorage, AK, September 30, 2013 -- Dan Bigley, bear attack survivor and author of Beyond the Bear, to speak at All-Alaska Medical Conference in Fairbanks.

LifeMed Alaska is proud to present Dan Bigley at the All-Alaska Medical Conference, October 7, 2013 from 10am – 1:30pm.
 
Dan will be joined by surgeon Carl Rosen, MD and Ted Galbraith, CFRN, Director of Clinical Services with LifeMed Alaska. The talk will cover Dan’s encounter with a grizzly bear, emergency response and trauma victim transport, and reconstructive surgery. The talk will also cover topics related to loss of site. This will be a truly unique presentation with perspective from both victim and care takers.
 
The All-Alaska Medical Conference is an annual continuing medical education program hosted by the Alaska Academy of Physician Assistants. This year’s event is taking place at the Westmark Hotel and Conference Center in Fairbanks Monday, October 7 – Wednesday October 9. Dan Bigley will be presenting Monday, October 7 from 10am – 1:30pm.
